Whitwick & District U3A - Covid19 advice
In light of government advice to avoid all unnecessary social contact and travel, Whitwick & District U3A will be suspending all General Meetings and Interest Groups with immediate effect.
We would simply ask members to follow government guidance and common sense. The following points should be noted:
- We all need to keep washing our hands frequently.
- If you have a new continuous cough and/or a fever you should self-isolate for 7 days. You do not need to inform anyone at this stage. If your symptoms get markedly worse, or they have not improved after 7 days you should seek advice from the NHS website (111.nhs.uk) - if you have no internet access then ring 111.
- If anyone in your household has a new continuous cough and/or a fever you should all self-isolate for 14 days.
The situation with the outbreak of coronavirus is changing all the time and your Committee will try to keep up with changes and if necessary offer further advice, but for now this is our position.
